- George ( b1810)
George (1810 - ?) was born at Darlington, County Durham. It appears he first married Ellen and by 1841 they produced 4 children: Mary Ann b 1832, Ellen b1838, Ann Elizabeth b1840 and John George b April 1841. He married Isobella Railton (b 1810) possibly April 1843 from Staindrop. They had children Hugh Railton b1844?, Margaret b1846, Joseph Mallory b1849, James b1851 and Frederick b1854.
- George was a house painter but his real interest was music and later in life he was a pianoforte tuner, taught music and sold sheet music.
- The 1861 Census shows George as married but Ellen is not listed at 67 Northgate, Darlington. His elder brother Hugh, aged 17 was apprenticed to be a printer. He later moved to London and was department head at Waterlow and Sons, well known printers.
- By 1871 John George was a professor of music, James a mechaanical dentist and Frederick a hairdresser. Their father aged 61 was a widow and worked as a piano tuner. It appears George died prior to the 1881 Census
- Frederick (b1854)
- Frederick (1854-Dec 1919) was the youngest child (of 12) and brother to Joseph Mallory (30 Aug 1849 - 2 May 1926; 10th child) the well known book binder and publisher, JM Dent.
- He married Emily Thornbeck who was born at Islington, Middlesex. They worked together as hairdressers.
- They had one child, Frederick b 1882 in Pannal, Harrogate, Yorkshire

- Frederick (
1882 - 1946) was born at Pannal, Harrogate, Yorkshire to hairdresser parents. He was an only child and became a hairdresser and wig maker. The family moved to 68 king William Street, blackburn, Lacashire between 1901 and 1911. He married Kate Page from a dressmaker, hairdresser family from London in 1912
